Will was appointed Executive Chairman of Wain Group in 2016. He previously worked as a Chartered Surveyor for Cushman & Wakefield and set up HIMOR in 2005. HIMOR was incorporated into Wain Group in 2016 before becoming Wain Estates. Will has over 20 years’ experience in the land and property business, with an emphasis on transactions, investment management and corporate strategy. Understanding that people are the heart of the business is what drives Will’s ambitious plans. He has focused the company with a clear purpose: to have a positive impact on people and places.

Jim was appointed Managing Director of Wain Group in 2024 and is responsible for the day to day operating of Wain Homes. He previously worked as Managing Director for Barratt London and Group Managing Director at the privately-owned Weston Group. Jim has over 35 years’ experience in the property and construction industry and brings a wide-range of skills to the role.

Andy was appointed as Group Finance Director in 2022 to lead on the financial strategy and growth of the business. Joining us in 2018, he previously held the role of Wain Homes Finance Director. He has over 25 years’ experience in raising finance, including multi bank syndicated facilities, interest rate hedging and public funding. He is a chartered accountant and has significant experience in financial reporting, taxation and investment strategy.

Nina was appointed Group Legal Director in 2017 to oversee our external legal instructions and carry out Group transaction work. Before joining us, Nina worked in private practice for both national and regional law firms. She qualified as a real estate solicitor in 2001 and went on to specialise in residential property development, acting on behalf of developers and house builders. We benefit from Nina’s experience in all things property development – including land transactions, site assembly, social housing, planning promotion agreements and joint ventures.

Iain was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Wain Group in 2022 to help provide strategic input and council at the Group Board, as well as to both challenge and give advice to the Group Executive team. As a chartered accountant, Iain holds an impressive portfolio of insight and experience spanning 35 years’ in specialist finance. With his previous roles having taken him from KPMG to CBPE Capital LLP.
