Our approach to housebuilding is different. Operating in three established regions in the North West, the South West and the Severn Valley, we put people first. Building not just homes, but communities. Our aim is to grow our delivery of family homes across all three areas to 1,600 by 2027.
Wain Estates is a strategic land promoter operating across the country. We specialise in creating value for our landowner partners by promoting their land through the complex planning system to achieve a residential or commercial planning consent.

Carrington Estate is an integral part of New Carrington, a draft allocation in the Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s Places for Everyone. This complex site is one of the UK’s largest regeneration schemes and includes land formerly used as a petrochemical plant, agricultural land and previously developed land.
Sagars Road is a key strategic housing allocation in the Cheshire East Local Plan Strategy. Wain Estates secured a Planning Promotion Agreement with the landowners, before successfully promoting the site for residential development. We then went on to secure outline planning permission for the development in August 2018 and sold unconditionally to Anwyl Homes in February 2019.
Crown Point is located in a prime urban area in Denton, Greater Manchester. Once the site of a hat factory and later a battery factory, our vision was to transform this contaminated industrial land into a thriving residential scheme and help revitalise and regenerate this area of the town.
Higher Trewhiddle is situated on the south-western side of St Austell, Cornwall. The site is well-positioned within ½ mile from the town centre, and well-connected to nearby Bodmin (10 miles) and Truro (15 miles) which provide a strong source of employment and leisure opportunities.
Mulgrove Farm Village is situated in the highly sought-after area of Harry Stoke. A well as being just a short walk from Parkway train station, this location has excellent road links to both the M4 and M5. Our aim was to create contemporary homes that are accessible to everyone, attracting a mixed community of first time buyers and families of all ages.
