Crown Point

  • Location: Denton, Greater Manchester
  • Acquired: 11 acres in February 2017
  • Bought for: £6.2 million
  • Investment to date: circa £30 million

Crown Point is located in a prime urban area in Denton, Greater Manchester. Once the site of a hat factory and later a battery factory, our vision was to transform this contaminated industrial land into a thriving residential scheme and help revitalise and regenerate this area of the town.

Our regeneration scheme

This £40,000,000 scheme will provide 200 homes with a mix of 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedrooms. We aim to attract a mixed community of all ages, including first time buyers and families.

Phase one, to create 55 new homes, is now complete.

Phase two, to create 50 homes per year, will be complete in 2024.

Considerate design

  • Integrating the new development into existing streets and new road link
  • Providing convenient access to the town centre facilities
  • Creating a sense of place through urban squares and green park areas
  • Developing bespoke house types
  • Including changes in roof scape for added visual interest and a strong street scene

Wider community benefits

  • Economy boost – extra demand for local retail businesses
  • Sustainable location – greater accessibility means fewer car journeys
  • Green investment – £11,000 local council payment to enhance green spaces
  • Funding education – £49,000 contribution to local schools
Our vision is to create a design led residential scheme that will help revitalise and regenerate the area. The new population of approximately 700 people will significantly boost the local economy.
