Social Responsibility

Serious about social responsibility

We have an opportunity to make a lasting positive impact on people in our communities. Not just the ones we live and work in, but those beyond our developments too. See how we’re making a difference to lives, schools, transport, infrastructure and facilities through our charitable donations and volunteering initiative.

Our charitable giving

As well as making monetary donations as a Group, our people also help support charities through their own fundraising events. From scrambling and climbing our way through a 15k Tough Mudder, to a fancy dress charity carwash, our teams always go the extra mile.

Just some of the good causes we have supported

University of Manchester Sponsorship Scheme

Disasters Emergency Committee

UKRAINE HUMANITARIAN APPEAL
Disasters Emergency Committee

Helping families fleeing the conflict by providing food, water, shelter, healthcare and protection.

The Centre for Social Justice

The Centre for Social Justice Housing and Communities

An alliance of charities with initiatives that help to strengthen local communities, prevent homelessness and loneliness, empower families and enable affordable social housing.

Grief Encounter

Grief Encounter

Helping to support bereaved children and young people through services including one-to-one counselling, group workshops and art therapy.

Our Helping Hands initiative

Giving time is as important as giving money. Helping Hands is our volunteering initiative and enables every colleague to donate a day of their time to do good deeds in the communities in which we build. Anyone can get involved by giving a day to their favourite charity or help out at one of our many organised events throughout the year.
